1. Introduction

Welcome to Dotorial (“we”, “us”, “our”). We provide an online platform that connects learners (“Mentees”) with instructors and experts (“Mentors”) for live, interactive learning sessions.

By using Dotorial, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, you must not use our platform.

2. Key Definitions

Mentor – a person offering services, lessons, or guidance via Dotorial.

Mentee – a person booking and receiving mentorship services.

Platform – the Dotorial website and related services.

Session – a scheduled live mentorship or tutorial conducted through the platform.

3. Eligibility

You must be 18 or older to register as a Mentor.

Mentees under 18 may use the platform with parental consent.

By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate.

4. Our Role

Dotorial provides the technology platform for Mentors and Mentees to connect.

We do not provide mentorship services ourselves.

We are not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, or outcomes of sessions.

Any agreement for services is between the Mentor and the Mentee.

5. Accounts

You must create an account to use Dotorial.

Keep your login details secure.

You are responsible for all activity under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or close accounts that breach these terms.

6. Booking and Payment

Mentees book sessions through the platform.

Payments are processed securely via [Stripe/PayPal].

Mentors set their own rates; Dotorial charges a service fee (typically 20%) from each booking.

Refunds are only provided in accordance with our Cancellation & Refund Policy.

7. Cancellation & Refunds

Mentees may cancel up to 24 hours before a session for a full refund.

Cancellations within 24 hours are non-refundable.

Mentors who cancel sessions will be penalised, and repeated cancellations may result in account suspension.

8. Mentor Responsibilities

Mentors must:

Provide accurate information about their skills.

Deliver sessions professionally and on time.

Comply with all applicable laws (including tax obligations).

Not share or promote harmful, illegal, or misleading content.

9. Mentee Responsibilities

Mentees must:

Ensure they have the required equipment (internet, camera, tools).

Use the platform respectfully.

Not record sessions without permission.

10. Intellectual Property

Mentors retain ownership of their teaching materials.

Mentees may use content for personal learning only.

Recording, distribution, or resale of sessions without permission is strictly prohibited.

11. Prohibited Use

You must not:

Harass, abuse, or exploit other users.

Use Dotorial for illegal activities.

Attempt to hack, disrupt, or misuse the platform.

12. Liability

Dotorial is not liable for disputes, personal injury, or damages arising from sessions.

Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the fees paid by you in the last 12 months.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion if you breach these terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales.
